people. It provides jobs and training in all parts of the economy-
as well as its own factories. Working closely with Government programmes like
Workstep
and NDDP, it assists over 2,000 people with a range of physical and
mental disabilities to find work every year.

government, customers and suppliers, and to continue to show commitment to

We have always paid respect to environmental issues and are known for our responsible
use of resources. We recently received an Energy Efficiency Accreditation Award
in recognition of the high standards we have established both in the management
and use of energy. This year we have reduced our emissions by 13% for gas,
and 9% for electricity.
We aim for business excellence in all our activities, and are constantly seeking
new ways to improve the services we offer.
Remploy has gained ISO 9001 accreditation and we are now working towards obtaining
the environmental standard ISO 14001. We also count winning the RoSPA Gold
Award for Occupational Safety as a major achievement, since it clearly reflects
our concern for the working environment.
