Remploy Electronics promotes Southampton Manager

Remploy Electronics has promoted Ray Field to the senior management position at its Southampton factory. As Local Remploy Manager (LRM), he will oversee all operational issues at the site, which specialises in cable and wire harness assembly.

Field has been with Remploy for four years in materiel control, safety and quality assurance roles. Prior to this he spent 16 years as Spares Manager for Heliworks Services, Thruxton, one of Bell Helicopters' franchised parts suppliers.

Ray Field joined the Army from school to serve an engineering apprenticeship. He later transferred into logistics and attained the rank of Warrant Officer 2nd Class in the Royal Engineers.
